Founded in 2001, Field of Dreams Boarding & Training Kennel is a full-service facility offering manners and gun dog training, as well as dog boarding. Our newly-remodeled suites keep pets relaxed and comfortable during their stay. All of our guests are leash-walked 3 times per day and get one off-leash "romp." We also have an Off Leash Dog Training Park that offers exclusive use of our training fields for private training, breeder fun days, dog parties or just a safe place to exercise your dog! We're located in Sweet Home and serve the surrounding Albany & Corvallis area.

When you sign up for field, obedience, or manners training, you are paying a daily rate. You decide what days and how many you want your dog to be trained and you are paying for each individual day. YOUR DOGS ARE NOT BEING TRAINED EVERY DAY YOU PAY FOR THEM! The trainers are only working every so often and there has been several times the trainers aren't even on site when dogs are scheduled to be worked with! I highly recommend not signing up, no matter how much your dog may need it because chances are you're just giving away money.
This kennel also offers a variety of activities you can sign your dog up for. The employees here are swamped with dogs, more often than not, they don't have time to take your dogs out for these activities! So yet again, you are paying for something that your dog is not receiving.
At least several times a month they book over capacity. With limited runs, these overbooked dogs will either spend their days stuck outside in a yard, or in a crate.
The owners of this kennel are only about making money, they have no idea what dogs are being boarded, nor do they care. They are only about the bottom line.
Aside from the boarding side of things, this kennel also trains rescues to become search dogs or some other form of a working dog. These rescues are not local and they are kept in a 6x8' gravel run, or a 4x7' concrete run until they can be accepted into the program. These dogs are stuck in their runs from morning until night, when they are moved into crates to sleep in. The concrete runs are thin and confined, and while the gravel runs are spacious in comparison, they are metal hot boxes through the summer. With 3 tin sides and metal roof, there is little to no airflow and they get HOT! These poor dogs are just stuck trying to pant the heat away, breathing in stuffy, warm air the whole time.
This kennel either needs to be under new management or it needs to be closed down. I would never bring my dog here and I highly recommend you don't either.
