As A project manager for a building contractor, I use Antique woods quite often. They are very helpful, and have a huge selection. As to the other review that complained of oily wood. It's not motor oil. It's the natural oil of the wood that your contractor was talking about. It is a difficult wood for flooring, but with the right sealer on the floor, it is beautiful.

We purchased three bundles of pine flooring from Antique Woods. When our floor installer came to give us a quote he let us know he would not install the bundle of flooring because a large portion of them were oily boards. Thank goodness he caught it. Two weeks after the boards were returned we were told by Spencer there would be a 30% restocking fee and "I sell boards with motor oil all day, everyday and no one says anything."

Maybe some people prefer motor oil in their home but I think it should be made clear before purchase
