yesterday, 1/31/12, I stopped at Don Pan on Sunrise Blvd the Sawgrass and I had a terrible lunch experience. First of all, there was absoutely no one in the place and that should have been an inkling. I ordered an Arepa rellena (their specialty) and I couldn't eat it because it was not cooked thoroughly. The masa was still wet and moist and mushy, and it didn't taste very good at all. I also ordered a Pineapple shake and by God it was WARM. Shakes should be cold, not room temperature. I also took home with me 4 plain arepas which I finished baking in the oven, but ultimately, they tasted terrible. Needless to say the relleno in the arepa left much to be desired and not very apetizing. I had ordered ham and cheeze relleno. This used to be a good place to stop in for a good tasty lunch but it is no longer so and if things are not improved, it's going to fold. Dorothy Miller
