Hard to do business with

I have been going to Keller Clinic for about 20 years, all of their offices except Goodyear. I like Drs Nelson and Kennedy but try to get an appointment. The whole organization has a firm set of rules that allows no room for patient accommodation. "Bedside manner" is not in their dictionary. I had an appointment today but had to cancel since I was in the hospital. In trying to reschedule, the next available was 7 weeks. No compassion--just follow their rules. I am now looking for a local office
where 2 or 3 doctors practice but do not try to push their private label products on you at outrageous prices.

Over charging

I had a very small benign cyst removed from my neck in January, 2015. I received a bill for $448.64 for a complex repair. Later, not even having sent me a bill, I was told of an additional charge of $231.93 for the actual excision. What kind of billing system do you have. They claim that the charges are set by my insurance company. In addition to this, I had to pay another $115.00 to have him see me pre-op. I would not recommend this facility due to their high cost and billing practices. The follow up care was not that great either.

Skin cancer on my. Nose

Dr Scott Kennedy took a biopsy of a spot on my nose. It came back that I had skin cancer. They called and set up an appointment with Dr Cordova to remove it. She was excellent and made me feel at ease. Over all I felt that the Dr.s and staff were very helpful. I would definitely recommend them.

Condesending appointment with Dr. Olemedo at Beatrice Keller Clinic

My PCP requested that I make an appointment with my dermatologist, Dr. Huls. to look at a growth on my leg. There being no appointment available they gave me an appointment with Dr. Olemedo. When he looked at the growth he said, "A Wisdom Bump"!!! I am full able to understand what it is, and do not appreciate having him be so condescending. When pressed for an answer, he gave me a brochure and told to read it when I got home. I asked him to look at three other problems. On all three he was again condescending, insulting, and rude. I am glad that I do not have a malignant area, but think I should be treated with respect and dignity. He needs a refresher course in patient care.I do not recommend that clinic for dermatology care.

MRSA infection

My mom went in to have a small cancer removed from her lip. The doctor she went to, Fiora, INSISTED on removing a biopsy from her ankle from a spot which several doctors had said already it was nothing to worry about.Long story short - she still has the cancer on her lip, is in the hospital getting IV antibiotics because 12 hours after the biopsy her ankle was ballooned up and maroon-colored with MRSA. Now it is life-threatening because she has kidney disease and can only do limited doses of antibiotics.Dr. Olmedo did follow up with concern, but the damage was done. My mom said Olmedo was nice, but otherwise they were all rude and abrupt - they tried to schedule her for the lip surgery AFTER they knew she had MRSA. How stupid can you be?

would not recommend Beatrice Keller Clinic

I had a large mole removed from my body by Dr. Olemedo a few months ago. It was a rather painful procedure, but was happy to have it removed and that the results came back good. After the procedure I was not given proper instructions as to care for my wound and had to ask many questions to get clear answers. When I left the office I did not want to go back, but I had to get my stitches removed a few weeks later. Two weeks later I went back to have my stitches removed and my wound had opened a bit, but the stitches were removed, but I kept a bandage on it to help close it. I let the doctor know that I still felt pain in the area, but he said it looked good. About a week later, I was still in pain and saw more redness. I saw my doctor at Mayo, who said I had a bad infection and it should have been noticed at the dermatologist office. To make things worse, they sent me a bill at the beginning of Feb and put my account into collections in March. I would NOT recommend this clinic!

Great Care

Dr. Olmeda has been my doctor for over 3 years and I have found him to be professional, thorough, caring and has a wonderful patient/doctor demeanor. I hope he plans to stay for a long, long time.
