Great care at hospital and PT, 5 Stars for that. But, whatever were they thinking to move the Urgent Care to the second floor!!! On the first floor there was a separate entrance which was wonderful so that people with sicknesses that can be spread go in that door. They don't go through the lobby. Now they have to come through the Main Entrance and go the elevator and go to the second floor and germs going all over as they wait even on the second floor spreading whatever they have all over. You go healthy to the Dr. and get exposed to the flu or something else. We aren't the only ones wondering and thinking the same thing. Everyone is talking about it. Tells me that medical people aren't making the decisions.

My husband was transferred from Wickenburg Hospital with possible heart attack. He wasn't complaining of severe chest pains. He was taken to the cardiac floor and they decided it wasn't his heart just immediately and started guessing at what it might be. You would have to read the medical records. He was there 3 days and because he was hyper ventlelating called in the worst pulmonary doctor in Surprise. This man had no bedside manner. Long story short we had to demand dismissal. 3 weeks later he had a major heart attack in Prescott.. The hospital reviewed our complaints and not surprising they felt everything they put him through was justified. They had no problem collecting thousand of dollars from our insurance. We asked that they at least waive our copay since they didn't treat him for what he was referred. Of course not. We just were again in Banner Dell Webb and everything about that hospital was professional. I wouldn't take my dog to Boswell.

Went in with a severe leg wound, a lot of blood and they asked me to fill out paperwork 3 times before i had to scream to get a real Dr out at which time he advised i was level 1 triage and shouldnt be waiting. After 4 hours of no pain meds I had a medical trainee put 12 stitches inside my leg for my thigh muscle and 11 on the outside. She was literally shaking because "she had never stitched a wound this bad". She even had to get approval for each stitch before doing the next which made the experience a lovely 65 minutes. After writhing in pain the Doctor made me feel like an annoyance and gave me Delaudid, then discharged me unconscience 30 minutes later. The staff was so embarassed they even admitted id have been better off going elsewhere. I had to get 4 CT scans for my broken tailbone becuase the inexperienced staff couldnt figure it out, THEN they charged my insurance company 16k for 4 scans. I was given no pain meds, and discharged with a bleeding wound. NEVER GO HERE

the department chair and ER physician in a busy level II trauma center in Iowa where we provide excellent competent and compassionate care. My mother in law is in the hospital now and I am appalled by the incompetence, lack of communication, and lousy care she has received at Dell Webb. She's being sent to a skilled nursing facility within the next several days. We are making a special trip next week. I have a good friend who is a malpractice attorney and we've been in touch. They're discharging her with the same acute condition she arrived with. Disgusted. A hospital in Iowa that provided the care she has received at Dell Webb would be out of business in short order. Ive been an ER doc for 25 years, and have never seen this kind of neglect. We'll see that she is treated properly once we arrive, but probably not there. They will have swept her into a facility..another old lady in their patient mill out of their hair.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. Went into the er, mind you the place where emotional stress is at the highest point because it is an energency.... well walked into the er and immediately was attacked by the security guard. FRANK was so rude it was unbelievable. I couldn't believe he actually told us to shut up. Like are you serious in an ER? We were not even being loud. Just talking to my grand mother who was emotionally distraught about being there. She has dementia and we are trying to calm her down, and FRANK could have been a little more respectful. This hospital needs to better train their security officials to know how to treat people with respect and courtesy while they are going through a hard time in their lives. DO NOT go here if you have children because God forbid they talk. You will get attacked by security

Huge hospital but nothing short of amazing care.

As big as this facility is, the staff is caring, respectful, thorough and efficient. :)

Complainers

If you have a primary physician, see them instead of running to the ER for every problem. The complainers are habitual ER patients going there for quick relief. I went there for the first time yesterday. The team working was wonderful and caring. They assured that they gave me a correct diagnosis before they sent me on my way. The PA did all the right tests and figured out a problem my former physician in Wisconsin didn't even notice. The nurses were extremely busy but the whole ER was. It didn't bother me one bit. If there is someone with a more serious issue than me, then by all means, take care of them first. This staff went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and I know I was in good hands. My husband and I both agree that this was an excellent experience.
