I am new in town and met a fellow veteran that referred me to this place. When I arrived, I was given a very cold reception by the staff and customers. I am a veteran of 29 years, and was glad to see that there were signs there supporting veterans and our troops, but to the contrary. There were others staring me down and making me feel that i was not wanted there. These experiences reinforce my perceptions that Chicago and some of the surrounding areas are very racist and segregated. I will go to anyplace at least once to try it out, but I would not go back to this place ever again and not recommend it to anyone else.
