I had driven past this wonderful consignment shop so many times as I live and work in Stratford. The first time I finally decided to go in was when I was looking for a very particular gift that I knew I would not really find in a store. The owner Marie greeted me as soon as I walked in and she was so very sweet and accomodating. I explained to her exactly what I was looking for, knowing that I would most likely not find what I needed- a hand mirror. She led me right to the most perfect hand mirror- I could not have hoped for a better fit as a gift for my friend. She even had a smaller box that I was able to put it in for easy wrapping, even though she stated she normally does not have boxes to give. I have shopped in here many times since, finding a gorgeous with makers-stickers still on Tiffany Refresher Set in handblown crystal for only $100 (listing price is $250)- another amazing find was a vintage silver plated tea and coffee set (with creamer and sugar bowl) all for only $25!!! I have also gotten beautiful jewellry pieces and brooches as gifts for friends along with really well-kept clothing. I have brought many friends here and they also keep returning for more. The items constantly change as things are bought and added. I love the lawn furniture as well- it's a really wonderful little place to check out! I prefer to support our Stratford small businesses and this one is a definite win-win. To note, all items are stated as final sale. Ensure that you check for functionality before purchase and bringing it home! I have NEVER had a problem shopping here and I will continue to do so :) Thank you for always seeming to have what I never knew I always needed Marie!

I can only address my experience and not the experience of these negative reviews. The owner greeted me right away. I told her that I was in town to visit my Judson Beardsley ancestors, and she could not have been nicer. I got some wonderful things, and I will definitely be getting more in the future.

Don't EVER shop here, let alone try to donate. The owner didn't even greet me upon walking in and when I asked if they accepted household items she ROLLED her eyes as if I was an idiot for asking what kind of items to donate. She then proceeded to say "why don't you look around" in the most snippy attitude I have ever heard. So disrespectful and rude for anyone in any business let alone an owner to react this way. I felt really hurt walking out. So much so that I literally walked out without listening to the rest of what she had to say! I'm one of the most shy, polite people out there and she really turned me off to ever going there again!

Great deals on designer clothing & a new shop with a boutique like feel to it! Shop owner is terrific too!

I bought an electronic globe from here for my kids and when I opened the area to put in the batteries it was obvious that batteries had previously leaked in there and the coils were corroded. I put batteries in just in case and of course it didn't work at all. I find it hard to believe the owner of a store would accept an item like that and she was sure to tell me as I was leaving that every item is "as is" and final sale and unreturnable. The previous owner of the globe and the shop owner are just plain dishonest and charlatans. Really?! You debase yourself like that for $10???
