Do NOT order flowers from this insolent and arrogant man, he is rude and argumentative. I ordered a package which included flowers and chocolates through an international florist agency called " Teleflora " as I live in Ireland and they were for delivery to Shelton Ct. Teleflora selected J.Dillon to provide as they are located close by in Stratford Ct. The flowers were delivered on 14th December but no chocolates and rather than making an issue I asked the recipient to contact J.Dillon directly as it may have been a simple oversight and every opportunity should be explored to rectify the matter. That was a mistake, Dillon was extremely defensive, insisted that the chocolates were delivered and she that had eaten them but later conceded otherwise. He eventually promised to deliver the chocolates later that afternoon or by the following morning at the latest but failed to do so.On 16th December another call was made to Mr Dillon who refused to engage and passed the call to his assistant as he uttered obscenities in the background. Again a promise was made to deliver the chocolates later that day or the following morning which needles to say did not occur. Mr Dillon was in general extremely unhelpful, arrogant and made promises he had no intention of keeping. Eventually I e mailed Teleflora who responded immediately and positively, they contacted Mr Dillon directly and agreed that his attitude and committment to customer service was appalling, they issued a full refund for the chocolates that Dillons failed to deliver and assured me that all future orders would be placed with an alternative provider. Not only would I never recommend J.Dillon to anyone but I wouldn't touch them again using a barge pole, you have been warned.

I was saddened by the condition of the arrangements and how inaccurately they were put together at my mothers wake. The owner didn't seem to care and would rather argue about it. I would not recommend them at all.

I ordered the flowers for my wedding from Ed Dillon & Sons in Stratford. After meeting with Ed Dillon himself multiple times, I ordered the flowers for my entire wedding from him. I went the day before the wedding (after already having paid the remaining balance) and realized that Ed Dillon was only giving me half of the amount of flowers we agreed upon. When I brought this to his attention, he shrugged and said, "Well there's nothing I can do about that now". He wasn't able to order more flowers that would have arrived in time for the wedding, so I spent hours running to every Stop & Shop and nursery with the same type of flowers, and ended up spending an additional $350 the day before the wedding on flowers to supplement what he had given me. This added so much stress to my wedding experience, and to top it all off, when we went back after the wedding to demand a refund, all he offered me was $150 in store credit. Do not purchase flowers from them if it is for an event of any sort, or you might get screwed.
