Established in 1983, Bear Hill Rehabilitation and Nursing Center provides short- and long-term care services. Its skilled nursing services include medication administration, enteral nutrition, intravenous therapy, respiratory care, pain management, and diabetes management and teaching. The sub-acute services offered by the health care center include complex medical care, oncology, wound management and cognitive retraining. Its hospice services include pain management, support for the family, pastoral counseling and spiritual support. Additionally, it offers short-term rehabilitation services that include speech and physical therapies. Bear Hill Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is accredited by the prestigious Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health Care Organizations and is a member of the American Healthcare Association and the Massachusetts Extended Care Federation.
