Great tacos, enchiladas, tamales, burritos, carnita, birria, chile colorado etc. mexican breakfast too. I've lived in stockton 23 years and this taqueria is as good if not better than any in town.



The nicest people ever run it.

Maria's is a small taqueria/meat market with a whiteboard of 15 or 20 items. Tacos, burritos, enchiladas, tamales, tortas, and dinner plates. Excellent salsas, both rojo y verde.



This is a hidden jewel! If you are on Interstate I-5 and need a break, take the 8mile road exit in Stockton east to Thornton Road. South on Thornton to a small strip of shops. Modestly priced, high-quality food.
