My mother and I shop at Food Depot weekly sometimes several times a week. My Mother is 90 years old and has been shopping here way back when it was Cochran's, Quality Foods, now Food Depot. We have always felt like your staff was like family. My Mom has always written checks, at this location and never written a bad check to your store. Her picture I'D mine you is expired but it is still clearly a picture I'D. Today she was told she could not write anymore checks at this location. I was very hurt that my Mom's feelings were hurt after all the years of being a loyal customer. We will not be shopping at Food Depot any more after this incident. I think being a loyal customer for all those years should account for your staff to have handled this situation better. Rules are rules but loyalty should account for something. I think times have changed with customer service and appreciation at this store. I think this is a shame. My Mother means everything to me and hurt that her loyalty meant nothing to Food Depot.
