Provided by YP.comI called around trying to find a good place to try to get my air blower fixed for my heater for the winter. I called these guys and was told that the diagnostics were free. So, I decided to go to them to see how much it would be to fix the problem. I showed up and it took thirty minutes of standing at the counter until someone actually stopped to talk to me. They started looking at the problem and came back to say that they couldn't find the problem right off and that it would casst $130 and hour for the mechanic to find out what the problem was. I understand that they need to make money and that the mechanic did need to use time to find the problem but then they shouldn't tell people over the phone that it is free to find the problem just to charge them when they actually get in to the shop. After an hour of finding that it truly was the blower that needed to be replaced, which i already suspected, they also used the time I was paying for to look for other issues with the vehicle to try to sucker me out of more money. They wanted to charge me $400 to replace the motor and I said no way, and took it to a different shop where they replaced it for $150. I still had to pay the $130 just for them to tell me what I already knew. I wouldn't recommend these guys to anyone!

Provided by YP.comLet me start this review by saying I'm a 'car guy'. In the 13 years I've been driving, I have had 16 cars ranging the entire gambit of cars. Over the years, I have dealt with a lot of shops that lie and deceit their customers, or simply don't know how to properly perform repairs and service. I first discovered Curry's in their Falls Church location and immediately fell in love, when they were able to diagnose issues on an Altima that no one else could and repaired it for a fraction of the price others quoted me. Since then I moved and therefore use the Curry's in Chantilly.
While I liked the Falls Church shop, the Chantilly shop is even better. The service advisers actually care about me and my cars. Currently they maintain my 05 Mercedes CLK55 AMG (a very finicky and high tech car with lots of mysterious issues--example: the car has no dip stick for checking oil, the computer checks it). Curry's is the ONLY shop outside of a Mercedes dealership that seems to know anything about the car. And they're cheaper!
The best thing about Curry's is that they stand by their work and care. I was stuck with a blown tire in Myrtle Beach earlier this year. The special ZR rated high performance tires are very rare and I called the local Mercedes shop who literally laughed at me for asking if they had them in stock. They said it would be days before they could get a tire and there was none in stock in over 250 miles. I called my service adviser at Curry's not knowing what to do, and he ordered me a tire through on of his vendors and had it shipped overnight to a local tire shop and made all the arrangements for changing out the tire. Now that's service! I'm a customer for life!

Provided by YP.comWent there twice. Very unhappy both times. They say they can work on most cars but they had my car for a week with no results. Also, they charge way more than other shops. Told me I needed a brake line for inspection. Went to another shop and they said they couldn't find anything wrong with my brake lines. Stay away from these people.
