We came in the modern, contemporary wonderful looking place; it looked great from the street; a sweet hostess met up with us. You walk into a beautiful bar and lovely booths.



well, we passed all the empty booths and were lead to a small dining area crammed with tables. They were so close, I noted two customers at separate side tables sitting back to back and had to take turns scooting in to accomadate the other when one had to get up. First we were placed at a center table where the cold draft came in, and were then seated right by the large entrance to the kitchen and bathrooms where the loud kitchen noises came in. We asked the hostess can we sit at one of the empty booths, and got this rediculous "you'll get served faster back here".



Our snooty waiter brought these awful hard bread sticks and a tiny cup of hummous, they almost broke our teeth. I asked for softer bread, that's all they had. We ordered our overpriced beers, and looking over the organic menu, I watched others getting plates with the tiniest portions. It was rediculous. So we asked for our check just for the drinks and the waiter passed us several times 'til we had to remind him. A place that expensive should have nicer service and bigger portions. I guess they thought they're in manhattan or something.



So we left; I guess it's the right place to look for something "different" but I see it more for a place of idiots "looking for culture" and getting ripped off. I'm sure the food is probably exquisite, but we spent less money on better pizza at shenondoah pizza.



If you want to overspend and eat less on lesser table area, go for it. Other wise, go elsewhere.
