If I could pick no stars I would. Do not bring your loved one to this facility. It is horrible.

The administration is rude and obnoxious. They do not answer questions, will not advocate for your loved one if needed and get angry when you call you them out on issues. The staff is indifferent to the patients. They drug them up and leave them all sitting in one room. The floors are chaotic. They leave patients, carts, wheelchairs nursing carts etc in the hallways and the atmosphere is anything but what a patient would need to rest. The food is awful. The bathrooms are filthy. If you do ask questions they just keep passing you on to another person. They do not listen to family input. Your loved one will wither away. The activities are a joke. The social services director is a horror. I find it hard to believe this person has any credentials at all. It is awful. My Mom went in physically strong, but had dementia. They have no clue as to handle demential patients. The do not know what to do.. Trust me I went in with high hopes so this is not just some frivolous gripe. They neglected her for weeks on end after I told them I suspected she had UTI. They ignored request after request to check her. Do not put your loved one in this place. You will feel so guilty after you see how they treat people. Do do it. I finally had to have an ambulance summoned to the facility to take her out. She died. DO NOT PUT YOUR FAMILY There are a few nice people working there, but the care is awful. The nurses were caring but unskilled. I once found some of my Moms pills on the floor under her bed; once she was giving her the wrong pills. They did not fill an order that my Mom's physician had requested. They only want the patients drugged so that they do not have to do anything... Save yourself a lot of agony and grief -- stay far, far away.

If there were no stars I would rate it no stars. The administration is awful. They are strictly only interested in one thing. Getting the money. The are clueless when it comes to dealing with conflict. They never answer your questions or assist with concerns. They pass you onto another staff member over and over. The food is awful. Patients are forced to share a bathroom with 4 people - male and female mixed. The activities are a joke. The floor staff appears to be indifferent. There are a few good people but they are spread too thin. The nurses are nice but not skilled. The front desk is empty for hours on end if you come after work to visit your loved one. You can get no information and you see no one (except the nurse who gives meds) I once found mom's meds on the floor under the bed. I felt so guilty putting loved one in here. Hope this helps you to NOT DO IT. you will feel so bad after you do.
