Swope's sewing machine repair is awful. I gave them my machine and it was returned to me in the same condition without repair! I sent it back and they still didn't address the problem, plus they removed a part which they denied forgetting to put back. I finally resorted to ordering the part online, and the original problem was still not fixed. The whole process took months, then I finally gave up. Don't let them touch your sewing machine.
