PLEASE BE AWARE that ADJ charges for the travel time from their PREVIOUS job, to your house!!! I was charged for 40+ minutes of travel time for the service men?s travel EVEN BEFORE they arrived at my house. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?!? You might want to inquire as to the address of the previous job so you are not caught in this same situation. Apparently the people before me must have lived 40+ minutes away or something?!? When I had initially called for a quote, I asked upfront for any sort of hidden costs or fees, and by no means did they mention this.

Additionally, there's nothing I hate more than paying people almost $600 to fix a minimal issue which I had already pre-identified myself as needing the blower motor to be replaced.

The guy Joe whom I spoke with to reconcile my invoice with on the phone was unapologetic and simply said that "anywhere else would have charged you $800" and "that's why we're switching to flat rates." Oh, he also pointed out that he wasn't charging me for the second service man that was sent on the job (just for the first one). Yeah...better not! Because I certainly didn't ask for 2 and it does not take 2 men to change out a blower motor. Laughable!

If you have this same a blower motor issue I recommend you order the parts ahead of time. Or at least, if you decided to call ADJ, start by telling them in advance which make/model of the fan you need and have them come with the parts IN hand so that saves time which equals money. Honestly, anyone could fix this themselves by a) getting the proper replacement parts (ordering online or going to local hardware store) and b) watching a YouTube video on how to replace blower motor fans and doing it yourself. Not that hard and will save you $600-$800!!!
