Dr Guillermo Linares is a neurologist specializing in minimally invasive treatment of strokes, brain aneurysms, vascular malformations, atherosclerosis of the brain arteries and carotid stenosis. He offers a range of neurointerventional procedures, including retrievable stents for stroke, catheter angiography, and blood flow evaluation with ultrasound. Dr Linares provides critical care for hospitalized patients, as well as outpatient evaluations. A member of the MidAmerica Stroke Network, Dr Linares is actively involved in stroke and brain hemorrhage research. He is the principal investigator on a National Institutes of Health-funded trial and with the Society of Vascular and Interventional Neurology Registry.
