I don't believe this business deserves one star! On Sept 3 2013 I place a $13,765.00 deposit for cabinets, granite counter tops, tile, & installation. I stopped in at least once a week trying to get an order confirmation or shipping date on the cabinets. I was always told that Rick Hersey is the only one that can contact the company & that he would call me back the next day. I never received so much as an e-mail from this crook. Today on October 25th I received a call from my contractor stating that he heard from a former employee from Old City Design. He stated that the cabinets had never been ordered and gave me the po number & contact number for Waypoint Cabinets. I called & to my surprise the representative told me that the cabinets were not being built & had not even finalized an order. Furthermore, that the cabinets had not been paid for. I went down to Old City Design Center to confront Rick Hersey about taking my deposit of $13,765.00 and not placing the order. He didn't have any answers for me & just blamed his employees for his problems. He failed to provide me with with an order confirmation or a ship date & when asked to call the Waypoint Cabinets to verify the order in my presence he wouldn't do it. I asked for a refund & he obviously didn't have the money. I talked to the former employee & he stated that it was routine for contractors & suppliers to come in looking for money & that many employees' paychecks would bounce & were never made good. There were 16 other people on the list that put down substantial deposits (one as much as $30K) but the cabinets were never ordered because he couldn't pay for them for whatever reason. What happened to escrowing peoples' money Mr Hersey? You shouldn't be comingling peoples' deposits with your business funds. I urge everyone to stay away from this slickt-talking liar & theif. I hope I can contact other victims & we can work together to put this crook in prison where he belongs. I'm sure we will probably never see a dime from this crook & he will probably be out of business by November 4th when he's told everyone that their cabinets will be shipped. I will do my best to make sure you go to prison & that anywhere you go Rick Hersey that you will have a difficult time stealing anyone else hard earned money. In the end, you will pay.

I have a beautiful new kitchen done by this company. I loved everything about it! The people there were professional and I am thankful for a local company who does this great work. My neighbor is now getting her bathroom done by them as well since she loved my kitchen so much. No problems whatsoever.

Don't go here! Very bad service. Poor craftsmanship. Poor customer service!! Read all the other reviews. Listen to them!!

Do NOT go. Very unprofessional and unorganized. Workers are subcontracted out. Every day a different worker shows up and you never know what time they will show up since none of them drive. They all drive together so you have to wait until each one gets dropped off at each different job site. Then they all leave early because they need a ride back. My 3 day job has turned into a 7-8 day job and no workers even showed up at my house today. There are only so many days I can take off of work. I put a large deposit down and am so sorry I did. If I had known, I would have just purchased the tile and had a professional company install it. I understand this business is not even a member of BBB. Go somewhere else!

Great! I had so many things I knew I had to have and they made it happen for me! My floors are amazing and my new kitchen is to die for! I will have them come back again. Professional. Courteous. Reliable. Friendly.

This place is fantastic, they helped me with my kitchen counter tops and they look wonderful. I am going to use them when I remodel my bathroom next. I advise everyone do the same.
