I have never had such rude, unprofessional service in my life. My family has been wearing and buying Red Wing Boots for over 30 years. And have always been very pleased with the service and the fact that you can go into any Red Wing Shoe store in the Country and get your boots re laced and polished as you wait or even leave them and come back later. This store claims he does not do that service their.... And lost a sale of three, if not four pair; of a couple hundred dollar boots. It is amazing to me in these economic times. That this store would just blow off a huge sale. Their was four of us their and three of us where going to purchase new boots. However we where treated so rudely that we walked out. It is a shame that their is not a closer store then Bend. However next time we are in Bend, we well be shopping their for our Red Wings.

I am a 46 year old man, and I have bought a lot of shoes over the years. I enjoy new footwear as much as the next guy, but I have never really enjoyed the experience of buying shoes or boots - it's just something I have to do, like getting a haircut. Today, that all changed. I had the best footwear-buying experience in my whole life at Springfield

Red Wing, and I owe it all to a young man named Kellen Nero. He gave me a warm greeting, asked what brought me in, and immediately began making recommendations that reflected my needs. I will also note that while I came in expecting to pay more for a different model, he directed to me to a less-expensive boot that had many, if not all of, the same features; this made me trust his judgement and honesty immediately. He carefully measured my feet, and soon he had me standing in a pair of the most comfortable boots I have ever worn. I, of course bought them. n addition, he showed me some insoles and made recommendations on those, and also sold me some boot salve to keep the boots from drying out in Oregon's wet/dry changing seasons. He spent a good half-hour talking to me about boots and other topics, and just made the experience one that will ensure I send business to Red Wing, and to him in particular.



I am excited about breaking in and working in my new boots, and now I very much recommend Red Wing boots in Springfield. If you decide to shop there and Kellen is working the day you pop in, I can guarantee a great experience.
