He served as a Lieutenant Commander at the Naval Regional Medical Center in Portsmouth, Virginia from 1975 to 1977. Dr. Smoluch is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology, the National Board of Medical Examiners, the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.
