About a month ago i decided to customize a 26'' BMX bike from scratch. It took me about 3 days to pick out all the parts i wanted for the bike and it was nearly complete, the only part I needed was a crank so I went to Hutch's to get one... I picked a decently priced 3 piece crank set that the bike mechanic told me would fit on my bike and he said he would install it for me for a low fee. I decided to go with it. So he took my brand new bike to his works station that looked like it hasn't been cleaned..EVER..props my bike upon the bike stand being suspended by the seat post and starts to work. As he is finishing up he has a couple friends enter the store..as he talks to them he continues to work on my bike carelessly, placing it on a dirty mat on the floor to finish up the job he hands me my bike back. As soon as I got home i took it for a test ride. During the test ride did a few hops with it and noticed something was wrong.. plus i had an extremely tight and loose spot on the chain. My bike kept clicking all the way home. The same day I brought the bike to "Bike City" where Tim diagnosed the problem that they forgot to put my spacer back in on the crank so it was grinding against the sprocket. I had to get another spacer for the bike, new sprocket, and somewhere along the line he laid the chain straight on the frame and chipped off spots of my brand new paint. If you ask me i think they are overpriced and although Bike City is a bit smaller then Hutch's it provides great work and satisfaction everytime. Bike City put my bike back together and it has been running great since.

Hutch's is a strongly recommended place to go for your biking needs. The staff is extrememly knowledgeable and are willing to help you with any questions you might have. That being said, Hutch's is the bike shop that exceeds above the others.
