I own an older house with a fireplace I was not using with a chimney cap that had fallen off. I had the idea of a gas fireplace insert, and after Midgley's was kind of rude and patronizing on the phone, I called the gas company for other companies, then tried Ambassador. They could not have been more helpful or done better work. Matthew came out and showed me exactly what would fit, what choices I had, and recommended a custom chimney cap. The workers who came out and installed and connected everything were efficient and wonderful, and when a switch on the new model didn't work, their technician was sent out the same day to put in another one. The insert works great, I'm very happy I did it, and also very happy that I went with Ambassador. If you use them, I think you can be confident that things will be done right and at a good price.
