Welcome to Linardos Villa We are a family owned and operated full service restaurant that has been serving the Springfield community since 1971. You will find our atmosphere relaxing and pleasant, the food to your liking, and the service excellent. During John's long experience as chef and gourmet restaurateur, he has taken great pride in serving appetizing food of the highest quality. It is with this pride that we bring you some of the exotic Greek dishes, pastries and spirits from John's homeland, along with other gourmet meals. We are also proud to have our sons Harry and John, Jr. to carry on the family tradition. Harry is in management and public relations and is always there to greet you with a smile. Having flown in from So Cal for my nephews wedding, the family and I wanted to venture out and enjoy some local dinning. We asked an employee at our bed-and-breakfast, "if you wanted a great meal where would you eat"? Without skipping a beat she replied "Linardos"! "It's only 20 mins away, and this place is great"!! My wife, and adult son, wanted at bowl of Avgolemono (lemon chicken) soup like my mom use to make. So off we went.

The owner Harry, greeted us with a smile as he seated us and made us feel welcome. We informed him that we had eaten at a "fake Greek restaurant" in Columbus, and the meal was disappointing. He responded "we will not disappoint you". And he was correct. The entire meal was absolutely fantastic!!

My wife and son started off with the Avgolemono soup, while I had the fresh beef and noodle soup. We were so impressed with the soup, we ordered Greek Salads, followed by Gyros, and Pastitsio. Each dish was equally delightful!!

Unable to eat another bite, we ordered a number of "homemade" Greek pastries to go. Back at our bed-and-breakfast, we told the rest of the famly of our incredable journey to Springfield. We also shared our tasty pastries with our family members. They all raved about how fresh and fantastic they tasted. They really must have been impressed with the Greek pastries, as they made a special trip to Linardos the very next day.

If you are lucky enough to live in the area, you should make this at the very least, a twice monthly eating experience!! You won't be disapointed!!
