Though it may seem secluded from the trashy parts of the north side Parkwood Apartments is no exception. Strange characters repeatedly hang around and more than one once I've found used syringes in the parking lot. There is a lot of technical problems like the parking layout and ground care. Inside the apartments are worse the paint job is cheap! You can find paint on light sockets and trimming. The tile is cracked in multiple places in the kitchen and bathrooms. Also due to the overall cheapness of the materials used in the apartments everything seems to break. Also in my two bedroom the heating and air does not consistently heat\cool the apartment. Honestly, I hate that I was naïve and so inexperienced that the manager Lisa was able to con me into living here. After I signed the lease her friendly persona was dropped and she refuses to remedy any of these major problems. Please do not move here and expect that the high rent means quality living conditions because it is the opposite. I know now there are way cheaper apartments with better conditions.
