Cathedral High School, located in Springfield, Mass., is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges. It is a four-year Catholic, coeducational college-preparatory school that serves students in grades nine through 12. The school was established in 1883, enrolls more than 750 students, and offers a freshman-sophomore curriculum. Its curriculum includes English, mathematics, history, science and social studies, and foreign languages with a choice in French, Spanish, Latin and Roman. Additonally, Cathedral High School provides course in business administration, accounting, desktop publishing, advanced word processing, Excel, law and social issues, Web design, economics and computer science that includes high-level computer programming language, such as Visual Basic.
