N.C. State Fair, organized by the North Carolina Department of Agriculture, attracts more than 800,000 people annually. It is an annual fair and agricultural exposition held at Raleigh in North Carolina. The fair offers the agricultural community a venue to showcase its crops, livestock and new technologies. N.C. State Fair also provides opportunities for urban population to learn about agriculture through educational and competitive exhibits in the areas of horticulture, cooking and folk art. It organizes Farm Animal Frenzy, which is a competition for high school art classes. In addition, the fair offers wheelchairs and scooters on a rental basis for persons with disabilities.
