Ambruster Manufacturing, established in 1875, is one of the oldest tent-makers in the United States. Evolving from a canvas goods and upholstery shop to a tent and fabric structure manufacturer, the company s product line includes frame tents, pole-supported tents, and tension fabric structures. It also manufactures a variety of custom fabric structures and has full contract sewing and heat welding capabilities. Its customers are wide ranging and include party rental companies, golf clubs, hotels and resorts, commercial customers who incorporate signage to promote their products, schools and colleges and the military. Ambruster Manufacturing is in Springfield, Ill.
