Poor service, lazy owner. Don't take my word for it though, just read the other reviews on google. There aren't many there, but most of the negative ones are talking about the owner/director. All she does is complain, about everyone and their kids. Don't plan on picking your kids up after 6 because even though they close at 630 the owner will start calling you if you're not there by 6 and complaining that you're always late. I feel bad for some of the other parents and employees that have to be around her. Spring is a small town and I've talked to a lot of people who know her and they all say the same thing. The owner is VERY rude and not just to me, but there are plenty of people who say she is mean and unfair. Even my son's mother said she is rude and we don't even get along. She was mean when she worked down the street by EZ FOOD STORE and she has only gotten more rude. She is the type of person who seems like she isn't happy with the way her life turned out so she is mean and rude to everyone she encounters (or maybe just anyone who questions her). If you say anything she will lie about you and bash you when you leave and make everyone think you did something wrong just for asking questions. Their policies are far behind industry standards and if it were up to me, my son would never go back here. I pick my son up daily and every time I go in I say Hi, bye, thank you, smile, sign out and I am very polite to everyone there. No one has ever had an issue with me when I show up there. The owner started lying about me to her staff and my son's mother because I raised logical questions regarding some of their polices including parent notification and why they always call me and complain that I'm late when I show up at 6 and they close at 630. They saw me every day the week before Christmas, I even spoke directly to the owner and they never once said anything about Christmas break and that we were required to sign him up (even though he is a daily visitor). They told us the day before the holiday week that my son couldn't go the next week because we didn't sign him up BUT WE STILL HAD TO PAY! I called the owner and I asked simple questions why they didn't notify us, especially when she saw me every day, why they didn't send a notice home in my sons backpack like every other daycare and school does, why they didn't call, why they didn't email, and why we should have to pay when they didn't notify us and the owner said quote "IT'S NOT MY RESPONSIBILITY TO NOTIFY YOU, THERE WAS A NOTE ON THE DOOR" and then she hung up on me. Don't you get paid to watch my kids? Now you want to refuse service and take my money anyway? Sounds like theft to me. But I'm the bad guy. This is literally the first verbal interaction I have had with this woman aside from Hi and Bye. Obviously she has a legal right to notify parents so I filed a complaint with the licensing board. After she found out, she told her staff that I was rude and mean to her and she got caught telling that to another child's mother who knew me from cubscouts and that lady told her and everyone there I was nice and she didn't see why she was saying those things about me. I haven't done anything to her except ask about their policies and I was hung up on. My son's mother chose this place and she refuses to change because it's the cheapest around but keep in mind CHEAPEST ISN'T ALWAYS BEST! Save yourself the hassle because you will eventually have troubles with this lady. Pay a little more, go somewhere else.

This "Little Red School House" has been a God send and blessing. I can not tell you how much my son loves it here. The staff is wonderful and the Director is truely a blessing in my life. They go above and beyond other places and actually love the children in their care. Thank you for all you do for me and my family "Our Little Red School House."
