I had gleannloch landscaping install a drainage pipe from my backyard to the the street. I was not able to be home when they installed it. They ran flex pipe instead of PVC. Ran the pipe 6" away from the spot I had designated for a tree. Left a mound running across the yard,(which really helped the drainage). I gave them one star and paid them because technicly they did what they quoted.

Flex pipe is crap. it's illegal most places that have codes. It's impossible to lay drainage pipe with a consistant slope so you end up with hidden puddles to breed mosquitoes. Plus the puddles at every corrugation in the pipe. It will collapse if anything is run over it . I didn't specify PVC pipe because it never occurred to me that anybody would even consider running flex pipe.

I'll start digging this summer and maybe have it all replaced by next summer.
