Great gym I've been going to almost ten years. Good equipment, people and price. However the area management need lessons in public relations.

The short story (longer one is on Yelp) is that my locker there was broken into and my wallet was stolen - cash, credit cards, driver's license - all the fun stuff to replace. As in most clubs the individual member is responsible for the loss of any articles brought into the club. That said, the club also has an overall responsibility to provide a safe environment. I felt that it would be a good public relations gesture for Fitness Connection to pay my membership for a year, or at a minimum give me a T-shirt or some other swag used for promotions.

Here I am some two months after the theft, numerous requests for the district manager John Lewis to call me, and finally after a call from him, NOTHING is done. ...Not a good way to win friends and influence people.

So if you want a great club, very good equipment, good prices, and good staff, this is the place to go. Just don't be enamored by upper management decisions.

Don't go there the staff that is those who are to sign you up are uneducatied, and unprofessional they may be working in the Woodlands but their behavior leaves no doubt that they are from the hood. The one guy was outright aggressive about forcing my wife to sign up and she hates pressure sales and the idiot blew it because now I had to quit because I vouched for this place if you don't believe me go see for yourself
