I am in the process of finding a new Dr. who is more concerned about what tests and treatments are needed that are in the best interests of her patients, instead of unwarranted screening tests that are an easy way to increase her bottom line. My concerns:

Dr. Hart did not respond, despite 4 attempts, to explain why she charged me for an unwarranted screening test that I assumed (big mistake) that was covered under my well woman exam. Apparently, she gives this test to anyone over the age of 12. Since she didn't explain there would be an additional charge for this, and didn't ask if I wanted to take the test, I want ahead and did it. $100 goes into the pocket of Dr. Hart and $58 comes out of my pocket. The screening was for depression/anxiety, and I passed it with flying colors. I didn't need a test to tell me that I had no indications of depression/anxiety.

She misdiagnosed me with an enlarged thyroid After paying for an ultrasound, the result came that my thyroid was within normal limits. Blood tests also came back as normal.

She sent the wrong prescription to my online mail order pharmacy. The result: I was charged $100 for a medicine that causes my blood pressure to rise to dangerously high reasons. It was her mistake, not mine. I'm still waiting for her to respond to my request to reimburse me since the pharmacy will not accept returns once they've shipped the order. The medicine she was supposed to send to the pharmacy was a $20 copayment.

I wouldn't be writing this review if Dr. Hart had responded to my requests. In this case, it's 4 strikes, you're out.

We have dealt with Dr. Hart, Amy Hamilton, PA, the nurses, the staff and always been treated with the utmost respect and compassion. I find they are very interested in and care about the person! This is not a chop shop - moving people in and out life cattle. They slow down and take the time to listen and follow up on all recommendations. We have introduced over five new patients to these ladies and everyone has been extremely satisfied. Quick to see you, even make phone calls in the evening to check up on you! I would recommend these ladies to any and everyone I know. Best health care I have seen in almost fifty years!
