I have been coming here since they opened. It's a family owned business that was a mom and pop place and has been passed down to the next generation. They will give you and estimate and show you what's wrong so you know and understand what you are paying for. Sometimes after starting the work they find it may be more because of unseen things. They call and give you and updated estimate. Always stand behind their work.

Thanks Dan ! Aka Ken

This is a family run "5 Stars all the way" shop for honesty, and ability to repair just about any car! They have done excellent work on our 3 cars for VERY reasonable prices. We've lived in Spring Hill for 12 years and our only regret is we didn't discover them sooner. I got a call from the owner this week to make sure a repair they did on a tricky ignition problem last week had been solved to our satisfaction. Yes! No, it's not a fancy, big modern store front shop with flashing signs, but they sure know how to fix cars! HIGHLY recommended!

I have been using Kens for 10 ...

I have been using Kens for 10 years and they do outstanding work at very fair prices for sure lower than most around here. I have an older model truck and in some cases it takes a while to figure the problem out especially when the problem isn't constant. I can't even count the times the owner hasn't charged me anything until we find the problem and get it fixed and on older vehicles that might involve some guesswork and more than a few visits. I wouldn't use anyone else.

this place does not know the m...

this place does not know the meaning of customer service. they will rip you off and then call you an #*@! (thats a direct quote from the owner). after spending two thousand dollars on my van, they returned it to me leaking oil and with the air bag light on. neither condition existed the day before they worked on it. the owner said they didtn do it, and i was an %$#! when i told him he should be ashamed of himself. he had an opportunity to take care of his customer. instead he insulted my wife and i. do not trust them! i hope he gets what he deserves! they deserve 0 stars!

: Gregg Fick and his wife came into my shop to discus repairs to there Chevy astro van. They explained to me they have overheating problems and there van ran poor. They had a new radiator, water pump, plugs wires and many other things done to there van at previous shops. But were unhappy with there work and would never go back. They left and brought the van back about one week later. During inspection it was found the van needs cylinder head gaskets.I made a estimate for the job. They agreed with the estimate. Then brought me in a deposit for the job. After the van was finished it was test driven at least 40 miles. I must say the van came out perfect,no more running problems. The engine temp stayed perfect. The engne did not leak a drop. There was a air bag light on. I scanned the air bag computer. It has a code for passenger side air bag open circuit. When you look at their dash board. The passenger side air bag area used to have a pull Handle mounted to the face of the dash. This handle is broken off of the dash board. Whenever this was broken it busted the air bar mountings so the air bag just lays there loose.I just figured they must have known about the problem since they brought the van to me this way. I then called them to pick up there van. They paid there bill. Which only excided the estimate by $75.00. I had to install another water pump. It was leaking around the gaskets and out of the vent hole. Mrs Fick then came and paid for her van. She called the fouling day and complained her air bag light was on. I explained to her what we already found. And that doing head gaskets should have nothing to do with her problem. I told her I would look at the problem a little further. About 2 weeks later she brought the van back in. When she dropped the van off she also mentioned one of the radio knobs were missing.I then checked the circuit from the air bag module to the air bag.The wiring had no opens in it. I explained to her the problem in most likely in to air bag .But might also have a bad air bag module. I did also go to the salvage yard to find the missing knob for her radio. I did not charge her to test the air bag system . approximate. $120.00. Or for the knob. When Mrs Fick came for her van. She complained about how tired she was about whenever she brings her van to a shop more thing a broken. I then said to her it may be one of those things that just happened. Meaning if she never brought her van to any repair shop and she started her van that day that the air bag light might have come on. You know like damn the bad luck for Ken's, that it had to happen here..She then left. About 6 weeks later. Mrs Fick came in and said she had a oil leak and her oil cap was missing. When checking for her oil leak. It was noticed the oil was coming from the radiator. The engine oil cooler line that runs to the radiator, that was installed by another garage was leaking.Note that we did not have to disconnect or remove anything from the radiator to do the head gaskets. I gave her a estimate of $50.00 for labor to repair the leak. I told her I would order her oil cap and it should be in the next day. Three days later Mr Fick came in for his oil cap. Running the busy shop I have I forgot to order his oil cap. He then went off on me saying we were bad people and would not stand behind our work.I believe I did more than enough to stand behind our work. It is a sham I never heard of how well the van runs or how happy they were the van was no longer overheating. And yes we do warranty our work. But just because you spend $2000.00 to do cylinder head gaskets. I need to warranty there whole van. That has nearly 200,000 miles on it.I will be more then happy to get them there oil cap. As for the oil leak they need to have the quick disconect fittings replaced on the radiator. It is more than likley just a bad part. Most radiators have a lifetime waranty. But that will be up to the peaple that replaced the radiator.
