My family and I were driving to Rushmore from Kansas when our check engine light came on in our Toyota Sienna. We called three dealers in Pierre, Rapid City and Spearfish, but all said that they were too busy to take a look at the vehicle. We were due back hone in 4 days and weren’t sure we should chance the drive back without having it checked out before hand. Called the Auto Doctor in Spearfish and he was able to get us in the same day. They diagnosed the issue within 2 hours and were able to get parts and repairs done within a day. So thankful for their ability to get Us back on the road safely.

It's not lucky to break down on vacation, but you are very lucky if you find Dale at Auto Doctor! On the day before the 4th of July, our 2013 Jaguar XKR overheated. We made it to Auto Doctor. Dale found the problem (water Pump) right away and honored the warranty. He treated us great and did a wonderful job. He was very reasonably priced even though we did not have any other options. Dale is an ex marine used to working on Jets so our Jaguar was easy for him.

I have been doing business with the Auto Doctor since I moved to the area in 2009. Dale and Karen Frazier (owners) have repaired every problem I have had with my Vehicles since we met,, my wife and I trust them completely. They have saved us money around every corner and the service there is exceptional. Dale has proved his honesty over and over there is no other place I would take my problems to. Going there is like visiting friends because that is how we are treated. I Highly Recommend the Auto Doctor in Spearfish SD.

I took my car here one day and once they found the problem the guy basically refused to give me my car keys. On top of that I told him I had to be to work by a certain time and he said that I would not be driving my car, and that they had taxis around the area to drive me. He then told me how much I was going to owe them. I told him I wasn't able to afford that and then he said he can't give me my car (that's understandable). I called my male friend and he came in to talk to the guy and he changed his story. He said that it wasn't going to be $274 on the spot and it was only $50. My friend had told me before he went there that they did a diagnostic on his car for free. It is ridiculous when someone changes their story just because it is a male/female talking to them. I will never be going back here and I would say that anyone who reads this should do the exact same. He is a jerk, unfair, and changes his story to make himself seem better.
