Our success is the long-term dedication and experience of our company personnel in both the export & domestic markets for hardwood lumber and veneer industries. We have many years of experience with export veneer log and lumber shipments. Our staff is well trained to appreciate the quality of material it takes to satisfy today's hardwood furniture, veneer, and flooring markets. Our primary goal is to establish long-term business for steady shipment of your required hardwoods. Our headquarters are located on a 100-acre parcel at the junction of Route 77 & Route 8 between Titusville and Union City, Pennsylvania. Dry kilns, grading stations, kiln dried storage, and two sawmill operations make up the Penn-Sylvan complex. Our main Log Yard can be found off Route 89, just 4 miles below Spartansburg. Here, logs are selected for Veneer log and #1 Sawlog quality - available for worldwide distribution. We often ship logs using our inspection once we know customer specifications. We pay special attention to preparing veneer logs ; applying S-Irons and wax needed to ensure protection during transit. Standing timber is purchased from the abundant wood lots of local government agencies, as well as from private landowners. Relying upon these rich timber resources of our surrounding region enable us to meet competitive demand for both veneer logs and lumber.
