Waited over 6 weeks for guy to provide estimate of repairs to our ridge rows and leaks in one of our chimneys. Then waited approx 3 mos for them to come make repairs. Winter comes and we finally get rain/snow. Unfortunately same leaks in chimney. Called them and first thing they say is they do not guarantee repairs. If they come out again would be new contract (& of course, new charges). When we questioned this, they were very combative and defensive. Instead of discussing the problem and trying to reach an understanding AND trying to keep me as a customer, they argued. This is not the approach I took in my 35+ years of business. My motto was the customer was always right & no matter what, I wanted to keep their business. Not these guys. FURTHER they had the guy that came out & provided the estimate call me & tell me the repairs for the leaking chimney was not in the proposal (they set out leaks in proposal and we assumed that was the chimney repairs). He proceeded to call me a liar (said I never talked to him about the chimney leaks), but said if we wanted they would come out and do another bid. Was a long conversation and one where I can say I have never been treated so disrespectfully in my life. And they were ok with being so rude. Go with someone else. Customers deserve respect and this company does not provide that.....that's not their motto.


Follow up......after about a week, got a call from Scott Roofing. Apparently had "change of heart." They sent out a crew who were on time and very quickly made repairs. Very much appreciate the response. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great company if you don't need a roof that doesn't leak. Or one that follows up on problems and warranty issues.

Scott Roofing put a new roof on my house in 2005. In the first big snow storm the roof leaked badly, damaging the walls, ceiling and electronic equipment. Scott would not return my calls for many months. When they did they eventually sent out a crew to repair some bad spots on the new roof. The forwman assured me that they would pay to repair the damage caused by the leak. After repeated follow up with Scott, I was finallly told that the job was out of warranty and I was on my own.

I wouln't use this company to roof an outhouse!

They removed the old shake roof put down new plywood, put down the new tar paper and shingles. Cleaned up all the mess around the house you can't even tell that they were here except for the new beautiful roof.

These guys were on it! Replaced my roof with vwery little intrusion to me and my family. Fast and they returned my calls too unlike some companies I have called in the past.
