Opened in 1996, Canyon Elementary School is one of the largest schools in the Nebo School District that serves more than 900 students in kindergarten through grade five. With its campus located in Spanish Fork, Utah, Canyon Elementary School educates students in several subjects that include math, composition, writing, reading, science and history. The school has a parent-teacher association that works in partnership with the staff members, as well as the community-at-large to provide programs and services that improve the educational environment for students. Canyon Elementary School provides counseling services that assists students with anger management, academic and personal issues, stress and family problems. The school also offers membership to a chess club.
