Valvoline Instant Oil Change

Avoid this place like the plague, what a scam! The owner gave me a verbal price of $45 to change the oil and would not accept a Valvoline coupon- fine. After a few minutes in the waiting room, he informs me that it will be $65 for the oil change because my 2012 Highlander takes two more quarts of oil ($10/quart?!!). I decided against doing business with him and would go down the street to a different company, BUT he said he had already drained my oil and that I must pay the $65 even though I had not agreed in any way to that price!! He held my car for ransom until a police officer showed up and I had to pay the $65 (and reconcile the difference in small claims court). This guy flew off the handle and wouldn't even split the difference, calling me a thief. It wasn't the $20 that ticked me off so bad, but the principal, his belligerent attitude, and unprofessional manner towards a customer. I have taken this up with their corporate office and waiting to see if they have a response to this untrustworthy franchise owner.

Terrific service! They are fast and very friendly. Knowledgeable but not pushy with upgrades like other places can be. Also, a bonus is that they have some of the nicest looking public restrooms I've ever seen outside of a country club.

P.J.'s Auto Care is a great place to go when you need quick service on your car and friendly customer service. I recently moved to the area a few months and found P.J.'s by accident. Ever since then, I won't take my blazer anywhere else (unless it needs major work). The staff is courteous, honest, and are very friendly. Also, its clean, has a great car washing service and really, really good coffee!! When you go to P.J.'s you will be blown away... I Promise!!
