Outstanding family run restaurant. It's where the locals go. Not plush and expensive. Just home town goodness at reasonable fare.

we ate at the riverway this fall, our experience was just terrible, waitstaff very rude,host seemed like he was having a very bad day,pretty much had other things on his mind.had to wait forever for drinks, when we complained to the waitress she said this is the usual way.my aunt fish looked like it was swimming in butter, the waitress did not seem to care about this when we mentioned it to her.the management should do themselves a favour and train people to have more people skills.will not go back for a visit. noboby cared from waitstaff to the managment shame on you when times are so tough.

I recently held a function here, and everything was handled in the most professional manner, the food and service was excellent, and if anyone went home hungry it was their own fault! The RIVERWAY LOBSTER HOUSE private function room was IDEAL for our needs, and gave guests a feeling of warm, CAPE COD Hospitality!On Friday Sept 11th, I hosted 62 members of the Willys Overland Jeepster Club who were on the Cape from around the USA for the "National" Fall Jeepster Meet. ( Jeepsterclub.org ) All previous arrangements for the dinner buffet were met with style.... the restaurants new owner, Jason Siscoe is the ultimate host, a true 'Gentleman'... and a pleasure to work with... He is surely reviving this CAPE COD CLASSIC dining establishment....and That's Great News! I will strongly recommend this restaurant to my family and friends, and return there in the near future.PGM - Taunton, MA
