I spoke with Dean at Dzen Residential Roofing about working on my home. My house was built in 1857 so I had concerns regarding the steep roof pitches and damage taht had been done by storms. Dean came out and did a full inspection and we hired him for the job. We were very pleased with not only the work that was being done, roofing, new plywood in certain areas and new gutters all around, but with the polite crew that came to our home each day. They were clean and diligent about picking up all waste. They even used a magnetic roller to pick up any stray nails. This was very appreciated, especially in the driveway area! I would not hesitate to recommend Dean and Dzen Residential Roofing and have done so many times.

Excellent job. Very competitive price with very good workmanship and scheduling. Job was completed according to schedule, contractor worked well with insurance company and site was cleaned completely after work was completed.

Dzen residential roofing was contracted to replace my entire roof with plywood, and were payed well for the job. A few years later my front entrance flooded with damage to a wall, my front door, and the ceilings in two rooms. It turns out that Dzen had skipped replacing the front section of the roof and just covered it with asphalt shingles, hoping that no one would know the difference. I had the owner, Dean Pinto, come out to inspect the roof. He confirmed that it was the original cedar roof under the asphalt and gave me a quote do redo the job. When I showed him the contract specifying that the entire roof was to receive new plywood, he reponded that the guarantee on the work had expired.

I ended up having J. P. Caroll fix the roof for half the price that Dzen wanted to charge to do the work they had already been payed to do. This time I kept an eye on the job. Caroll did a first rate job with no BS.
