Ed is an attorney as well as a retired East Brunswick Police Lieutenant with 23 years of service, NJ has over 40,000 licensed attorneys that can represent you for a DWI charge, but few possess his background. He was trained in Proper Police Procedure. He was certified by the New Jersey State Police to operate the Alcotest, the breath machine you blew into, and conduct field sobriety tests, including the exact tests you were required to perform on the side of the road. Knowing what circumstances may have effected test results is critical, and even a slightly contaminated test result may be cause to drop a DWI charge to a lower offense, or dismissed completely.

I was hit with a DUI - and to make the situation even more challenging, the arrest was made by the State Police. I was pulled over for passing without a signal during a lane change. They requested I take a breathalyzer test - in New Jersey, refusal is automatic loss of license - so technically I didn't have a choice. My breathalyzer reading was over double the legal limit...

I had high doubts I would be able to beat this and was facing loss of license for a year (due to the high reading) and a mandatory device installed in the vehicle after. I travel over a 100 miles daily for work so to lose my license would be devastating not only for my job, but to my family/personal life as well. After contacting 7 different lawyers, Edward was hands down the lawyer I felt most comfortable with.

I retained his services for my defense after the following, in no particular order:
1) Reading the reviews on several websites of him & his services.
2) Obtaining his expert advice/consultation.
3) His history with law enforcement & practice.

After retaining Ed and getting to know him as the process moved along, I felt more and more confident with my decision to utilize him in my defense. Fast forward some months, Mr. Janzekovich and I had my day in court. Edward was not only able to get the charge dropped, but the others they "tacked" on as well - I walked out of the court without having to pay anything!

His fees were more than acceptable given my situation, which also helped in contributing to my decision on retaining him. If I ever have need of a lawyer in the future again, my research has already been done.

Ed, I just wish to thank you - and to contribute to these reviews, which helped ME in my decision-making process.
