Great guy to work with. There aren t many people who do rentals in the area, so it was nice to be able to work with someone who does it well. He took time to make sure our needs were met and everything was very clear.

Lou takes good care of his clients...he is a very busy guy but always makes time. He helped us a lot with our rental and simply put we could not have done it without him!

thanks so much for selling our house and keeping our best interest in mind...if i ever have real estate needs in maine again i will be sure to look you up...this guy knows his stuff and is very professional

I DO NOT recommend ever doing business with any one affiliated with this company. They are fishy from the get-go. They convince you that there are tens of people applying to get the same house so you have to put down a deposit to hold the house as yours. He'll say that there are "several others" putting down deposits so you better write yours fast. Unfortunately, this was the only house we could find to rent and we went through with it. The communication (lack thereof) between the landlord, Lou, and myself was non-existent. Lou would tell the landlord he is going to call us on several occasions but Lou would never follow through. We were often left in the dark about important situations- as in the house was going to be sold so we had 2 months to find a house as well as he was supposed to apparently call us to let us know we wouldn't receive the full security deposit back. We never received those calls. I had to personally keep calling the landlord and Lou in order to find out any information. Then they'd say "oh yeah, I was supposed to call you" or "I was just going to call you"... I am sure you were- how convenient that I called! NOT!

In our lease, it stated that Lou would give us 24 hours’ notice to show the house. He showed the house at least 4 times and never ONCE gave us 24 hours’ notice. On one occasion he gave us 2 hours’ notice- I was already at work and couldn't clean the house or anything. He informed the landlord that I stated the house couldn't be shown due to cat hair around the house. He clearly showed the house but without proper notice to us tenants so how should I have known that I was supposed to clean up the house?

The business is overall a sketchy place with a sketchy website. I am surprised he still gets as much business as he does with his rudeness and all out disrespect for others.

Have tried to work with this realtor twice. Never listened to my messages. Was very rude on the phone. Hung up on me after asking me to repeat everything I left on a message because he didn't bother to listen to it. And he never answers his phone. I have experienced this on TWO separate occasions from Lou. I gave him the benefit of the doubt the first time, but when the same thing occurred a few months later, I got the picture. I guess he has so much business that he doesn't need people like me!
