Bought a beautiful pro-level viola from Mr. Ritter. He did a fantastic job on the set-up (strings/custom bridge/pegs/sound post/tail piece cord). He has a great selection of bows, too. I bought a superb Gotz viola bow. Also, he did a truly remarkable repair on my violin (seams/fingerboard/pegs) and full set-up. I received the repaired instrument within a very reasonable turnaround time.

I recently purchased a Cello for my son. Gary showed us a few and the one we purchased sounds like one at more than twice the price. If you are looking for a stringed instrument, or a repair check Gary out. He is not simply a repairman but a Master Craftsman and Artist when it comes to bringing out the best of these instruments. WOW says it all

Ever scince getting my new bass from gary I have been the envy of all my bass playing friends. Gary was willing to walk me through the steps of buying a bass. I got my beuatiful bass at a reasonableprice that I could not have found any were else for the guality. I also found gary to be very inviting and personable. Buying an instument from gary is an experiance wich can not be found at a large string shop (shar).

I have been to the Ritter shop many times for everything between instruments, strings, DVDs, books, repairs and advice - and there has never been a day where I walk out of the store without getting exactly what I had come for. Gary won't rush you with things and he'll make sure you know what he's going to do to fix your instrument or how to improve your arsenal of effects/amps in the electric and acoustic fields.
