NIMA is such a beautiful spa and I never feel like I am going to a school to get spa and laser treatments. The students are very professional and know what they are doing and I always leave feeling great. You can tell that the instructors care tremendously about their students. I will continue to go to NIMA for treatments.

I LOVE NIMA! This is my secret weapon to good skin, and feeling better about myself. It feels just like a more expensive medical spa, but its secretly a school so you can get amazing treatments at such good prices. I have seriously never had a bad experience, and I have done everything from pedicures to laser hair removal here. I have never really had the luxury to go to the spa until a friend introduced me to this place and I loved it so much I actually enrolled and finished school here. Which was one of the most rewarding things I have done. Anyway, I love it if you can't tell. Thanks for reading.

I graduated from NIMA and have nothing but great things to say! I really feel that the instructors wanted nothing but the best for me. They were there to support me through all my education and all my treatments. The spa is so beautiful. I felt like I was working in an actual spa, and would often forget I was a student. I continue to go to NIMA as a graduate to get treatments done and I love it! They are constantly improving their treatments and have the most up to date equipment. I am so glad I got my education through NIMA!

NIMA is my favorite place to go for spa treatments, and laser hair removal. Their students are all very professional and the staff is amazing as well! I also love that I can buy medical grade product from them, because it is hard to find that at other places!

I am a proud graduate of the National Institute Of Medical Aesthetics. I started school in July of 2010, One of my best friends started esthetic school around the same time as I did at a different school in the down town SLC area. When we would compare what we were learning her school didn’t even matching up. She was shocked as to what I was learning, and what we were able to do. Especially when it came down to the Laser training. At her school they were able to watch the laser treatments but they never did any hands on. I had her come and get a treatment from me and she is in AWW when she saw our beautiful school. She said “this doesn’t even look like a school, it’s so nice”. I feel so knowledgeable in the field I was trained in, and very confident that I learned from the BEST. I am now employed in the field that I love. I LOVED GOING TO SCHOOL AT NIMA!! It’s the best around, amazing instructors and staff, beautiful training center, they are professional in every way. Hands down I know I made the best choice by going to NIMA.

If it was possible to give zero stars, I would. As a student at NIMA I drove over an hour to attend class Monday-Friday 9-3 and worked a full time job as well. I had just finished my associates degree and wasn't sure what I wanted to do next, then Nima came up. My tour was enticing, I immediately could not wait to begin the program. I was a manager of a spa at the time and knew that esthetics was a career people could be very successful in. Upon beginning it became more and more clear that they were after one thing only, your money. They could care less about your education. The administrators were on a power trip and if they could get you in trouble for something, they would. Winter time in Utah and your only school jacket is dirty? You're not allowed to wear another one, even a plain one, just deal with being cold. We slid off the road one winter day on our 80 minute drive to school. With a police report in hand to prove what had happened, we were charged $50, and not allowed to make up our missed work for full credit. If you have more than one piercing in your ear, you must take it out-no exceptions. Because, of course having two piercings in your ears is entirely unprofessional. Have you ever been driving to work/school and an accident backs up traffic for over 45 minutes? If that happens to you while attending Nima, you will be unable to attend school for the day, and if you have appointments they have to cancel, you will be charged $50 instead of them allowing you to come and make the client happy, even if you are 30 seconds late. You will be glared at by the employees if you aren't a 100% student. Upon leaving Nima I was around 80% finished. At that time my class GPA or percentage was 90% or above. My attendance was 85% or above. And I was looked down upon like I was the worst student in existence. My sister and I decided to go to Nima and she was in the exact same position. We left multiple times crying because it was almost too much, and eventually, it was too much. To the point where we quit. At 80%, completion, one year of our lives, 15,000, and our sanity. We walked away. Because throwing away all of that was better than ever having to set foot in that place again. I am currently working on my bachelors degree at a university. I am a medical assistant working under a doctor. I am not one of those flaky people that complains about everything, and when I start something, I finish it. But I nearly lost myself going here, and I quit. And I have never been happier.

Amazing Spa for a School

This place is beautiful, especially for a school. My friend is a student at this school so I came in and had a mud wrap done. The spa is so beautiful, you'd think you were in the most expensive spa in Utah. You won't believe it's a school. The front desk girls are so friendly. My friend is about 1/2 way done with her degree and she says that the instructors and everybody are great. Highly recommend.
