As a child Kathleen suffered multiple orthopedic injuries that resulted in surgery. She chose to pursue orthopedics as a career so she could give her patients the same reassurance and care that she received many years ago.Kathleen enjoys coming to work every day to listen to her patient's concerns and educate them on their injury or illness so they can properly heal and return to activities that they once enjoyed.In her free time, Kathleen enjoys volunteering at local food banks and The Salvation Army. She also enjoys participating in 5Ks and exploring Michigan with her family.As a physician assistant, I take pride in spending time with my patients to truly understand what ails them and how we can work together to help heal them. I believe that listening to the patient’s concerns, and properly educating them on their injury or illness, allows for a strong patient-provider relationship and fosters healing. Helping patients return to activities that they once enjoyed is fulfilling and I look forward to helping many patients to come.
