As soon as you walk in store they ask you how they can help you. They do have a lot of what you are looking for if they don't they will tell you where you can.

I go to this particular Ace Hardware store because it's within walking distance, a couple blocks or so from my house. I'm a clean freak and I like to go there to purchase commercial cleaning products that you can't find at other retail stores. Apparently they don't want my money because they harass me every time I go there as if I'm there to steal grout cleaner or a toilet seat or something. It's a tiny store yet they have like 7 people working there and every employee feels the need to ask you if they can help. Nothing wrong with that, but once I tell basically everyone in the store I'm just looking at the cleaning products that should be the end of it. Yet STILL, while I'm IN THE CLEANING PRODUCTS AISLE, just perusing the different disinfectants or what have you, this really large bald guy creeps up behind me and, towering over me, DEMANDS to know what I'm looking for. with very rude and hostile mannerisms as if he needs to monitor my shopping in case I take off with a can of Sheila Shine or something. This has happened the last three times I I was trying to shop there, causing me to just leave in disgust, because strangely, I don't like being treated like a thief or an idiot when I am there to spend money at their store.If they think this to be good business acumen, they're failing hard I will never go back, so congrats, ACE employees, you lost a customer. I'll just take the drive to Lowe's, thanks.

Rescreen is about the only plus for Ace hardware. It might take forever, but it works for me. If you buy something, don't try to return it. The managers will not take even take a little drawer knob back.

I enjoy going to the Ace Hardware in South Daytona. I love the personal service I get as soon as I enter the building. Unlike the nonexistent service you get at bigger hardware stores including China-Mart. I'm a novice at home repair and I have received nothing but great customer service from everyone I've encountered. I love getting the carpet cleaner from Ace. It’s much better than the push boxes at other retailers.

I highly recommend the store!

Staff is not friendly, nor are they very knowledgeable. I would rather go to Lowes 10 miles away than go here anymore.

Management is very arrogant and service personel are limited as far as knowledge. Prices and quality of the products they sell are below par. Do yourself a favor, take your business to one of the larger home improvement stores when customer service is priority and the quality and prices can not be matched by this small chain. Its worth the extra effort!

I BOUGHT MY HUBBY A LIONHEAD FOUNTAIN FOR FATHER'S DAY FROM THIS ACE HARDWARE ...HE SAID AND I SAW THAT THE WATER WAS NOT DRAINING PROPERLY SO I CALLED THE GUY RECOMMEMDED HE COULD FIX IT...WE WERE SO DISCOURAGED BY THAT TIME THAT HE WOULD HAVE PREFERRED A REFUND OR A STORE CREDIT...THEY GAVE US NEITHER AND TOLD US TO TAKE IT HOME THAT THEY COULD NOT TAKE IT BACK...I WILL NEVER SHOP AT THAT ACE AGAIN....WHEN YOU HAVE A RETURN POLICY AND THE RECIEPT YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO RETURN ANYTHING.....WE ARE SO DISAPPOINTED...
