This shoe repair shop gave the best work . The owner was nice and very helpful . They showed me how to clean my shoes and make them look new again. I had new heel and toe piece to fix my toes it was very well priced and they look great again . Taylor Brother Shoe Repair. I believe they should have a Five Star Rating . Great place to go for shoe repair . Thank You .I will be back soon .

Zero stars. Over the years every time I try to use them for shoe repair all that I ever get is nasty rude attitude. Very unprofessional. I dont think I have ever met someone in business that works so hard to push you out the door and not give them business. Do everyone a favor and retire. This is a public service statement based on personal experiences.

I have never been treated so poorly or insulted by someone.
I dropped two pair of designer sandals off and he bent the sole and broke one! Told me he wouldn't charge me for that?!? And told me I was just paying for the name... well no kidding Sherlock.
After 5 weeks I called and they weren't ready. Told me it was raining and I couldn't wear them today anyway and asked if I had other shoes.
I told him I was coming regardless and have them ready. He hung up on me!
I get to his shop and he's gluing the one he broke.
Asked me for my ticket which he knew I didn't have because I told him on the phone and made me write my contact info to get my shoes that he broke?!? Told me good riddance and not to come back!! Don't worry buddy! I'll do everything I can to make sure no one goes to your business

Guy is extremy rude. Talks bad about other customers. Horrible customer service. Doesn't get things done on time. Don't take your business here.

While I can understand some of the bad reviews, they confuse me a little. The owner is not overly friendly, and very matter-of-fact, but geez... I don't want to date him, I just want him to fix my shoes. Which he does, very VERY well! The prices are very reasonable, and he genuinely tries to fix whatever problem you bring him.

I brought multiple pairs of high heels here for new tips. Not only did the owner fix the tips, but he cleaned all of the scratches and scrapes off the shoes and shined them. I also brought him a pair of winter boots that had a broken zipper. He replaced both zippers and gave me tips for how to keep salt stains from getting on the boots in the winter. I'm not sure what is going on with the comments below, but I have had a very positive experience with this business. I highly recommend Taylor Brothers.

The owner does good work and is reasonably priced. Allways been nice to me.

The man running this place is the meanest person on the planet. I'm not just talking rude, he is flat out mean! He spoke to me like I was dirt on his shoe from the second I walked inside this (disgustingly filthy) store. He became flat out belligerent when I tried asking what the cost to repair my shoe was and referred to me as "you women" and then when I went to turn and leave he said "are you retarded?" Then proceeded to call me a b...h!! I was so shocked that a business owner would behave this way that I was speechless. Please do yourself a favor and stay very very far away from this establishment unless you like to be called names and treated terribly.

I totally agree. I was looking for this shop in South Charleston and a lady that works in the area told me where to go exactly but WARNED me he is not a very nice person. I went to the shop anyway because I needed to have a shoe repaired. He was so rude to me I decided to go else where. I believe he may have been drunk. I told him I would go some where else and he told me to get the H*** out and he didn't need my business. I was completely shocked. I am telling you.... Just go to another shop and save yourself from the insult.

I don't even want to give Taylor Brothers one star, but apparently I have to in order to do this review. They don't deserve a star because I couldn't even get past the rude gentleman on the other end of the phone call to take my shoes to them. I was simply asking a question wanting to know if they offered a particular service and was met with hostility and overall rudeness. Taylor Brothers needs to work on their customer service. Furthermore, before hanging up there was a very sarcastic "Good luck finding someone to do that." remark. So if you want a place that treats you with hostility, rudeness and bad customer service, Taylor Brothers is your place, but if you want someplace to do your shoes, take it someplace else because I would never use them after this incident and couldn't even tell you if they are good or not.
