Food is good. No problems with New China, except one time got scolded for filling up takeout box...the lid must close, oops lol...well, it did close, just the tab to hold it shut didn't wanna keep it shut, so lol...

Owner's wife is not nice, walls are filthy with food splatters, chairs and tables too. Disgusting!

The old owners gave it a bad reputation

It is a good place to go, cheap and the food is average quality, haven't had any bad experience with them yet.

Go there frequently. They are almost always amazing. And if they aren't or something isn't working, they give you coupons or something to help you.

When I moved here. And ate New China Buffet. I did not know I have to pay first. There was no one at the counter. There was no sign saying "Please wait here to pay first." The manager than saw me and yell at me saying you must pay first. There a special and I had a coupon. They won't take the coupon. The food is not that good. I said do not go there. Like stores have stuff on sale. Like Energizer battery on sale. And you have a coupon. They still take the coupon.

Buffet tables are replenished frequently so there is always fresh food and the selections are plentiful. It seems to be well staffed, the tables are bussed quickly to accommodate patrons, and the dining area is kept clean. The bathrooms could use some upgrading. The price is very good. Eat-in meal prices include beverage. Great family value! :)

Probably one of the most inconsistent and disappointing Chinese buffets in the Michiana area. Sometimes decent, mostly awful. I actually choked on the overcooked sesame meatballs on my second visit, although the rest of the selections were better than my first visit. Third visit, this evening--dismal. The hot and sour soup bore no resemblence to any other soup bearing the name, and the green beans were tasteless. The Crab Rangoon looked good, but had only a film of filling inside the crust. Oddly, some of the chicken dishes had perfectly cooked meat, but that could not overcome the banality of the sauces. I don't expect much from a Chinese buffet, but this is one worth avoiding. I give it two stars only because I appear to have escaped food poisoning after every visit.
