Bad decision to use local businessman without checking references. Worst plastering job I have ever seen. Unfortunately my 85 year old mother paid him & now he won't answer calls or texts. Very disappointed and upset. Don't understand how he has been in business for 15 years?

We hired Stateline Plastering owned by Dwan Schuldt to finish the drywall on our home addition. The work was horrible. The ceiling looked like it had been through water damage or something. Tape was showing through in one spot. There were lines throughout every wall. He said that the walls would look better once they dried but that wasn’t true. My wife trusted him and paid him. He came back 10 days later and looked at the work he had done and offered to fix it. It was so bad we told him we did not want him back and we had hired someone else to fix it. He agreed to refund the amount back to us for the repairs. After 2 weeks of him saying he has no money now he says he never offered to pay and he won’t be refunding any money.
