The South Bay Correctional Facility is part of the GEO Group, which designs, constructs, finances and manages jails, state and federal prisons, special-purpose institutions, and immigration and detention centers. It also develops and manages medical and mental health rehabilitation facilities and services, such as those focused on education, substance abuse, counseling and work programs and community corrections services. The South Bay Correctional Facility s mission is to provide a secure, cost-effective environment capable of accommodating minimum-, medium- and close-custody male inmates.
