This used to be my go to place to rent a car. Went to rent my THIRD car so far this year. Suddenly I need two utility bills because I was using a debit card. I was not pleased, but was able to provide the two utility bills. It was September 1st and I was turned away because I had yet to pay the bills that were due later in the month. Again, this is my THIRD trip there to rent a car this year. With at least TWO more trips planned. The Budget rental in Lansdale who had no problem taking my money. They also earned a new return customer. You would think Enterprise would take the time to research and realize they were dealing with a good paying return customer who brings the car back cleaner and with more gas in it then when he left.

Let me start by saying I will NEVER EVER rent a car with Enterprise again! I now believe this is a Crooked Corporation I used them twice before--with no problem, so when I hit this huge deer and needed to rent a car while mine was being fix I called Enterprise. To begin--- when you rent a car you and the agent ( mine-- Emily ). we walk around the car checking for any--- Ding, scratches, dents etc. and it was at this point where I have had to learn a hard lesson!!! Unfortunately this is where I believe I missed a very costly although small dent at that time. LESSON LEARNED!! I will now check the car over 3x's- 2x's before I sign any papers and once more before I drive it off the lot. To go on with my story... When my car was fixed and ready for pick up, I drove the rental car to the auto body shop ( Wheel's Automotive Telford). Before I left I ask if I had to wait for the Enterprise agent to come and get the car, They called Enterprise (Souderton) an asked if I had to wait.. Emily stated No that I could leave and they would come and pick up the car and give me a call later. I was so HAPPY to have my car back.... about a hour later I receive a call from Emily stating that there was a change in the status of the car and that she is not able to pick the car up because there is damage to the trunk, and that she showed it to my auto body guy at the shop (KEN) and since I opted out of taking the insurance they offer At $48 A DAY--- CRAZY!!! which by the way... they probably get a commission from when you agree and I believe is mostly for people who have a license but do not need to own a car so they need the insurance when they rent a car if needed. Let me continue, She stated that they will have to put in a claim to my Insurance Co. and that would cause me to use my out of pocket $500 deductible to get it fixed. To say the least--- I was Flabbergasted!!!! I know I DID NOT cause or see any damage before. I had to see this dent for myself... I drove back to the auto body shop. I got out of the car looking for this HUGE dent in the trunk. I couldn't find anything, I went in to the shop and asked Ken to show me this damage, he had to point it out to me. It was maybe about the size of a silver dollar and unless someone points it out to you is quite easy to miss. REALLY!!! Ken stated that he could probably fix it for about $100-$150. The next day they had the car TOWED to the PLACE they use to get their cars repaired. Which I will probably now have to pay for the towing on a car that was perfectly able to be driven, Another way to ROB me of my hard earn money, If they get it fixed at all, they could just get the check and wait for the next unsuspecting person to miss that little dent again an who opts out of taking their insurance. I am hoping that this review will help people to be very careful when renting a car with this company. Going forward the next time I need to rent a car I will use a company I used back in the 80's but forgot about, but Ken from Wheels Automotive Telford recommends, I didn't know that they still were in business Kulp Car Rental. To finish I would like to say maybe even have a friend with you when rent the car Because as the old saying goes.... FOUR EYES ARE BETTER THAN TWO!!!

I have used their service many times, and each time it's been a pleasurable experience with services rendered; and they have earned this review . The personnel are friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable

My husband and I were recently hit by an enormous deer on the highway, rendering our car quite unsafe to drive. I needed a rental car and was recommended to Enterprise by our car insurance company. Upon receiving my claim number and calling Enterprise, I was informed that they "have no cars". A car rental company that has no cars. What the heck??? Is the whole purpose of a rental car company to have cars for people to rent? The agent I spoke with promised to call me back by the end of the day to let me know if a car would become available - he did not. In fact, it's been 3 days since I called about a car and I've still not heard back. I called around to a few other local Enterprise offices and was told the exact same thing - they "have no cars". Through gritted teeth I asked how a rental car company has no cars to rent out to people and was told (sarcastically) "Well, people have been in accidents just like you, ma'am, and they've taken all the cars." I hung up.



I am instead renting a car through a local, family-owned company called Kulp Car Rental. They actually HAD CARS available and DID call me back to confirm my reservation of the rental car.



Upon sharing this rather unpleasant experience with Enterprise with coworkers I learned that a few of them have also been told, when in need of a vehicle, that Enterprise does not have any cars available. How Enterprise is surviving in this economy with no cars available to rent to people is beyond me.
